I bought this set in factory black. If you already have chrome, send it to these guys. They did a system on my last bike with black ceramic and it was outstanding. Fast turn-around and a very fair price.

Smile Flat Black Pipes

I also have a 08 Crimson Red Touring Bike. I went with the D&D Fat Cat pipe in black. Get alot of compliments on the flat black pipe. I like the flat black or satin black with the crimson red. Just my own opinion, but I don't think gloss black and flat black mix well on the same bike. Chose one or the other, but not both.

I bought some Duracoat to put on the Sportster's pipes. It is used for machine gun barrels, and the hotter it gets, the harder it gets. I haven't put it on yet, but it's on my ToDo list. I got the chrome/silver color, but other colors are available.

Can't talk to durability, but the "look" is KILLER. Go for it. Leo's bike is a good example.

i had my headers, heat shields and mufflers all ceramic coated for $300. they also have a high heat clear coat that they put on so it gave me the gloss black look i was looking for. i got over 4,000 miles on them and they still look like the day i got them.

They sound great, the radio is a little hard to hear when traveling over 80. When I’m not in the throttle I can stay under anyones radar.
