Looking for suggestions on what brand of sissy bar bags you guys are using for trips. What did you pay for them also. I have an 09 Street Glide and need some more baggage for a longer trip. Thanks for any feedback.
I got my bag(s) from leatherup.com. Got two bags in the package - the sissy bar bag and a roll bag.
These bags are not leather. They are some sort of water-"proof" PVC leather look-a-like stuff. Doesn't look too awful bad. My uncle has the same bags, and his bags are on the bike 24x7, and they've held up pretty well for 2 years. I'm sure they are not as great quality as some of the other brands, but for the size and price - they do what I want.
For a summary:
Pros: Very large - good price
Cons: Look best on Road King with studded seat or Heritage.
I bought a T-Bags "super T@ the love ride this year for $250.00. It's a very nice bag, still haven't used it, but it looks good in my closet. They have a NO hassle LIFETIME warranty on all thier stuff too. Can't beat that.
