I think it looks fantastic compared to the stock football! Is the black a good match for the Vivid Black (or is it in fact Vivid Black?). Would you say that the Ventilator is more compact than the stock air cleaner and cover? This has got to go on my list of things to get!

It's a perfect match and looks vivid black to me. Very easy install and NO you don't have to remove the tank, as it states. Just use "L" shaped allen wrenches.

It has a tad of adjustment, but as it sits it matches the lines of the tank and looks even better when the bike is upright.
I'm very happy with how it turned out and looks much different, on there, than the football.
Looks great. When I put mine on, I thought it was a little crooked too, not much wiggle rtoom to move it. Then I went to the dealer and looked at the stock bikes and the OEM football is crooked also. Looks fine with bike upright and moving.
And PJ, It is MUCH narrower than the OEM, my leg does not touch this at all.
