2007 Street Glide Issues
My SG is occasionally have difficulty starting. It acts like the battery is dead, but when I turn the ignition and kill switch off and then back on it comes to life as if nothing is wrong. This does not happen too often but it does happen on occasion. Also, the CD player will stop playing and go into radio mode when driving down the road.
Anyone else having these problems?

My 07 was doing some crazy things like you mentioned turned out to be the neg battery cable even though it felt tight it wasnt making a proper ground at times cleaned it up put some ele grease and loctite never had and more problems

Every once in a while I get the same (07 Street Glide). Mine is no power, flip the switches hit the starter nothing turn everything back off and do it again starts most all the time second time around. I have never checked the battery connection because it happens so infrequently..something to look at.

Mine did something like that when I first got it. Turn the switch on, hit the starter button, nothing, jiggle the switch a little and she would fire up. It did this several times, I don't know how many times but quite a bit. Never bothered me much, never got worse and hasn't done it in I don't know when.
Now my radio has done some funny stuff too. Like when I have a cd in, but the unit is off. When I crank the bike the unit comes on, may be radio, may be cd.

My EGC did the same thing and it drove me crazy..! It sucks to get stranded somewhere and you just can't figure out what is going on. I recently went to a bike rally in Gruene Texas and it was at a H-D dealer. It was crazy there with all of the events going on but I managed to talk to the service manager about this exact same problem I was having and he pulled my bike in and went through it (hooked it up to to their diagnostic unit) and found it was in fact the issue with the starter fasteners. They retorgued the fasteners down to spec and it has started perfect everytime after that. Kudos to that dealership..! That is only an issue with the 07's. Hope this helps.
