Default Rear brake - 07 street glide

Guys, took her in for the 10K service last week. Nothing wrong going in, but now I think I have a problem. Dealer says no...everything is in spec...finds nothing wrong. These are the sypmtoms...
all is well starting out. After a few miles...maybe 10 or so...I hear an intermittent "scrape" or "grind" as the bike rolls...chtt-chtt-chtt-chtt. It gets louder as I go further. Even after just a short distance, the rear rotor is too hot to keep your hand on.
Took it back to dealer...again...they say all is normal and in-spec...and they don't do a brake service as part of the 10K service (in other words...we didn't do anything to mess it up). But the above just doesn't seem right...and I didn't have this before I took it in.
Sound "normal" to you? Any thoughts/ideas apprciated. Really bothersome.

Sounds like your brakes are touching the rotor. That is normal though.

I asked the same question on an earlier post. All that answered said rear rotor being too hot to touch is normal after riding. I had never felt the rear rotor while hot before. Always check my tires and clean the bike when it's cold. I thought I was getting rubbing also, that's why I reached in and felt the rear rotor. I must say it didn't take me long to let go.

it is normal for the brake pads to 'scrape' on the rotors while rolling. it is not normal for the rotor to be too hot to touch. little warm, yes. but it shouldn't be too hot to hold.

sounds like a piston on your caliper has some crud on it and is not retracting fully when your brakes are released.

thanks for the responses. took it to a trusted independent this morning for a look, and hopefully, a fix.
