Zanotti, by their own admission, will charge high shipping on anything under a $100. A lot of times I will compare bottom line from Chicago and Zanotti to see which is better deal after shipping. A lot of time it is Zanotti, other times Chicago.

A lot of dealers require you to be a local HOG member as well as a national member of HOG to get the 10% discount on parts. When I was a current member of the local HOG group I went on several rides with the HOG group and they send you a card to get signed while you are at the meetings to show you are active. Well the meetings are on the second Tuesday evening of the month and I have to work those nights and cant make the meetings but I do ride on Saturdays with the group so my card does not get signed and when I asked the general manager of the dealer about a discount he gave me this big speal about being active in the club and I tried to explain but it just pissed me off so now I just buy online and wait as the dealer currently has to order about everthing anyways so again I might as well save 20% off retail. Its funny when I talked to him about trading my old Softail in he just flat out said he did not want it and had attitude and I said fine so now I ride with the HOG group but the dealer gets a very little bit of my money. I ended up purchasing a used 09 Streetglide and to date have spent about $2000 with add ons and there attitude keeps my money away from them. It was the same when I was in Minnesota , I ended up purchasing my Softail down by Milwaukee, WI because the dealer was screwing people and charging over MSRP and again I can wait and if treated right be a great and loyal customer but in this economy we all have to watch our bottom line so no loyalty to these not so nice dealers when there are good dealers around. As they say money talks Bullsh** walks. Sorry for the long rant, its just a pet peeve, so far no complaints about Zanottis the yhave treated me well.

They usually run a free shipping special of some kind around Christmas only. I still use them alot regardless, even tho I am 45 minutes from them. Cheaper and easier to order online than make that trip twice if not in stock.
