Default Screamin Eagle Stage 1 Air Cleaner for Evo Problem

I had my dealer do some work on my bike... to get to the point, they installed a Stage 1 Screamin' Eagle Air Cleaner Kit on my '95 FLHR EVO. I picked the bike up and noticed that it was running a little rough... thought that maybe it just needed a good run, so I took off for a short trip. After about 30 miles I cold barley keep the bike running. Twist the throttle and no go... just spitting and sputtering and some backfire pops. It's full of fresh fuel, checked the petcock, plug wires and choke, so the only thing I can conclude is that the air cleaner kit is the culprit. It ran absolutely perfect when I dropped it off at the dealer. I had to abandon bike (left it at a safe place... dealer will have to pick it up). I'm not much of a wrench... any suggestions?

I'm not sure to be honest... they did not say and I did not ask. I had the bike in for a couple minor issues and also wanted them to remove a huge stainless steel breather line from the air cleaner that the previous owner had installed. They said a Screamin' Eagle air cleaner kit was available for the EVO, so I approved the purchase and install. I'm trying to go through the entire bike and get it in top mechanical condition as well as looking good, so I thought that the SE air cleaner kit would be a logical upgrade.

I would check with them and see if they put a different jet in. They may not have, or they may have put one in that isn't working. That might be a start as to where to look for your problem.
