Hi
I bought this kit just for the hard wiring part.
Spliced into back of cig. lighter and ran wire
through the hole in the fairing for the brake/throttle cable.

Since this picture I relocated the MP3 player to the left bar on the ram mount.

It only cost me $4 to hardwire my nuvi. $2 for the fuseholder and $2 for a package of fuses (not sold seperately).

Wait just a minute...you guys have cigarette lighters? Where is mine? I hard wired mine to the bat with inline fuse. HaHa I dont smoke.

Is anyone using some sort of "dummy plug" after they hard wire?
For when the GPS is off the bike, to protect the live wire end when not in use.
