Default Can the throttle be rotated on the bars?

Or is there a locating pin of some kind that prevents it? 2009 SG throttle by wire type. I'm looking to rotate my throttle forward as well as the front brake lever. I also want to rotate the clutch lever as well. The levers feel to high for me and I want to drop them down but I'm a little afraid. Thanks in advance. Glenno

You can rotate both the front brake and clutch lever up or down to your liking by loosening the bolts holding the perches on and rotating them. As for the throttle itself, No. There are notches in the handlebar that holds the TBW in place. But if you're just talking about the brake lever then your fine.

Two black torque(star) bolts on the half clamps, located next to the switch housing on your bars.....Loosen them some and adjust the levers up or down.....

Next, invest in a service manual and your be able to do your own work without being afraid.....

There is no locating pin of any kind, Yoy can rotate your levers to any position that you want. If the throttle grip ends up in a position that you don't like than you can open up the control switch cover and rotate the grip to a different position. The grip is not connected to a cable like older bikes.

True, if talking about just the grip. I thought he was talking about the entire throttle

When you rotate the throttle side the grip stays in the same position. I am kind of **** about the grips matching on both sides.

Default It seems to me that the two are connected to

each other. I had the half clamp lose and it looked as if it were joined to the throttle housing. If the throttle housing has locating pins and the front brake does not yet the seem connected how does one move and the other doesn't? I guess I'll get out there tomorrow and take a better look. Thanks all.

Loosen all four screws and it will rotate as one unit.

Default Yes I did mean the whole throttle.

I want to rotate the throttle and the brake as one. But not sure how to do if throttle has locating pins and brake doesn't? Because the two seem connected.
