What rain gear does the riders on this site wear and where do you purchase?

I just bought the HD packable. I also have the Road Warrior riding jacket so I will only be using the pants most of the time.

There are a lot of good rain suits, just make sure you buy a good quality suit. It should have venting, have a lining and make sure you buy it big enough to go over your riding jacket. Also recommend you have rain boot covers that have a sole on them. I have an Easy Riders suit I bought from a local vendor.

I use a FirstGear jacket that I bought at a BMW dealer. I have been using some gore tex backpacking overpants, but they have finally worn out. I just ordered a pair of Icon PDX rain pants and hope that they are good. The first thing I look for in rainpants is full length side zippers. It makes putting them on under the overpasses much easier.

I found that the HD rainsuit was comparable in price to other quality suits. Works well.

Went on a 4 day trip last year with my wife and the first 2 days it was just raining like crazy... I got us both the packable HD stuff and it held up great and kept us very dry.

Got mine on-line maybe from Chicago HD but I can't be sure.

Didnt like the prices of the HD rainsuits. But after I purchased them for may wife and I, a great investment. I think they put some thought into what a rider needs in a rain suit. Other then staying dry. We have riden quite a bit in the rain and stayed dry and comfortable. MHO
