Last year, I bought a set of H-D Rain Gaiters (ie: boot covers), and I love 'em! I road-tested them, riding in three straight days of rain, and they worked great. So I'd highly recommend that product.
As for a rain suit, I'm currently using a no-name brand of suit which I don't like at all. It mostly keeps me dry, but it really billows in the wind and is a general pain in the butt. I'm planning to upgrade to an H-D rain suit for this season, but I haven't decided which one.
Tried several kinds. Frog Togs were o/k, but flapped excessively and after spending hours getting burnt goo off pipes, finally bought hte harley stuff. Rode in heavy rains for about two hours recently and stayed dry...highly recommend. Mine are hd high visibility, pack easily and burn resistant legs work great.
