I have a 2009 Ultra and I am intrested in the new Vance&Hines Power Duals. Has anyone purchased these yet and if so are you happy with them. Is there an increase in power like V&H states. Can you provide numbers before and after. I already have Bub 7 slip-ons and SE racetuner on the bike along with SE aircleaner. I appreciate any info that could be provided.
I don't have any first hand knowledge of the V&H Power Duals, but several people I know have suggested that better options exist. If it were me, I would stick with the Bub's until you can obtain definitive evidence of power increase.
There arent many 2-1-2 options for 09s, at least there werent 8 weeks ago when I bought mine. What else are you looking at?
Just looking at the collector on the PDs you can see that they are gonna flow waaay better than stock.
I never put them on the 96 so I cant tell you how much more power they make on a stock motor. I can tell you that the sound, & fit and finish is excellent.
I have the V&H Power Duals on my 09 SG and I love em. They added sound AND power which I could easily feel! Had the bike dyno tuned after installing them and I picked up a good amount of torque.
I saw them at the Vance and Hines booth at the Laughlin River Run on an 09 SG with the monster ovals.
They looked and sounded sweet...
Not so lound the stereo was over worked, but enough to sound nice
dshuk,
I am thinking about these for my 'bike. I want to get the cat out and i want my MO's to be louder. Did you get any additional info for us from your e-mail to V&H?

I have had the V&H Power Duals on my 09 SG since they were released in early March and while they look like they will scrape, it is highly unlikely to happen. Hasn't happened to me and in person, you can see that the Power Duals run above the frame.
