Monkey bar tips?

Default Monkey bar tips?

I have a set of monkey bagger bars coming. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions to help with the install.

I had them out on my 07 Ultra. I had it done at a shop because I didnt want to take a chance with the internal wiring; I figure if something goes wrong they can fix it.

On a side note, the bars look and feel great; VERY comfortable!

Just some advice, make sure you have all of your cables before you tear yours down. Just finished putting a set on and had a heel of a time getting brake lines. The three major parts suppliers, Part Unlimited (Drag), Tucker Rocky (Bikers Choice), and Custom Chrome all had the splitters and lower brake assemblies back ordered. Took me two weeks to get my parts and my bike was torn down. Finally found a Russell splitter in California.

What bars do you have coming?
I installed a CycleSmitch 13" on my 98 Classic. 7" over on throttle and clutch cables. Sould of gone 9" on clutch.
