I tried one on. Didn't fit very well. I think you have to have a square head.

Go with the ACC. I have over 25K miles under it and its very comfortable. Not cheap, but comfortable, super light weight and DOT compliant.

Mine also pulls back my head way too much. I don't really have an issue with the comfort though. I don't think I'll be wearing it all that much. I've got a lot of other helmets to choose from.

I had one of the carbon fibers and it didn't fit the shape of my head at all. It felt like I had 2x4's tied to my head. I like the looks of the Drifter and the German both since the are similiar I am looking for something a bit wider to cut the direct wind off of my ears, my skull cap is so close that is creates a horrible whistle at freeway speeds that it gives me a headache.

If you want low profile and comfort do the ACC. By fat the most light and comfortable helmet I have ever worn. Tell them you are from HDF and get a 10% discount too. Going 3 years with mine.

I've been using my Drifter for 2 years now and really don't have any complaints with it... I like the removable ear muffs, I wear them most of the year here in the Pac NW. Any of the HD branded helmets I've tried I can't stand...

Try a full face helmet if you want a helmet that can help really help you in a crash. A good Full Face helmet is designed for wind resistance and will not jerk your head back when riding fast. Look for one with several vents to keep the air flowing for Summer riding. I trust my skull to a Shoei X-Eleven.

Default Combat Bell Drifter Helmet

Do not buy this helmet if you ride highways without a windshield. The wind pulls it off at about 50 mph. The chin strap is positioned to far back, there is no way to keep it on. It looks good if you're just riding around town.

I have the flat black drifter and I can't stand when I have to wear it. It shakes my head real bad when going highway speeds. That sucks because MO has some nice riding roads....or just going to the Cardinal game would be nice. I was wondering if all the helmets do that?
