Just bought a Garmin 205 Wide screen today for the bike and need a mount other than the suction cup mount. I have a banner and eagle fuel door so can't mount to that. Would like to handle bar mountr it. Does any one have this unit and had problems? Any advice towards better usage of it? Thanks.
I've got the Nuvi 750w which I believe is the same size as yours. Like others I'd get the RAM mount. I like the clean look of the mirror mount but like mine mounted an bit farther in and closer the fairing and behind the windshield using the handlebar mount. BTW I have Kromewerks +2 sweeper bars which are a bit wider than stock.
I wanted to fit my wifes Nuvi 200 to the bike and went to the ram mounts site , selected the GPS unit , then the bike , ordered what they recommended.
I went with the clamp style on the left handlebar.
I think the mount was $39.00 and ship was $10.00.
Works really well , looks ok......
Pretty happy with it , nicely built mount.

Just went on line to RAM and bought the handle bar mount and bracket for the GPS and should have it by Wednesday. Thanks for all the replys and am looking forward to useing it!!!
