I use the wrench in the tool kit that came with the bike... rubber mallet to convince it off and on...jack it high enough to clear the bike....Take my wheel to a local indy..$15.00 to change the tire...keep th eold one so they don't charge you the disposal fee....take it to the landfill yourself on the next trip...they have a spot for tires....I am not paying the stealer $300.00 to change a rear tire,,,,,hell no...

Good tips here, as I am coming up soon for both tires. So... Dennis Kirk for the E's. How critical is the belt alignment? Not to steal the thread but no one has commented on re-assembly. Is buying a belt tension measuring tool in order? I heard some guys just mark the belt adjusters so they can place them in the exact same spot?

I had to go out and buy a 36mm socket.

You should buy the service manual, there is some good tips in there. The first time is kind of a bitch. You got to jack it up just the right hight. Too high and you will have problems getting it off the brake.

Have fun, and don't curse too loud.
