Default Stator

Hello all, I have a 2000 roadking c, And I'm going to have to replace my stator. I was wanting to know if anyone has replaced the old one with a higher amp stator before? And if so what other parts do I need to change out I think I have a 38 and I have been reading about putting a 45 amp on my bike. Any help anyone can give me I sure would be happy to know.

Just installed a Compufire 40 amp three phase system. Great system, easy install with minimum shimming. Take a look at it.
