Question Air shocks

Does anyone know if the stock rear air shocks from an 09 Road King will fit my 05?

Thanks.

Not sure but if dawg is around, he will know.

Just keep bumpin' the thread up until the human parts catalog is awakened!

Well...... just by checking part numbers in the big book I'd say no and all of the shock listings in the J&P catalog seem to concur. At least for the FL variants anyway. I would guess the new frame configuration has something to do with it.

If you can look on the 09 shocks, the last 2 numbers will tell you how far back the shocks will fit. i.e. xxxxx-09, or xxxxx-99, or... The last 2 numbers on all Harley parts tells you what years the part fits on.

Thanks to all. Guess I will do something else. There is a pair of new 09 take-offs on ebay right now, if anyone's interested.
