Here is a link to PDF copies of the manuals. Number 3 is the installation manual and number 4 is the owners manual. Good luck.

Go to Radio Shack or Wal-Mart and buy a 3 foot 3.5mm or 1/8" stereo extension cord. Plug one end into the bottom jack on the left side of the Zumo mount and the other in the AUX input jack on the lower right side of the front of your radio. As soon as you plug into the radio the AUX option will come up as one of the input options. i.e FM1, FM2, CD etc.
For a clean look route the cord thru the front cowling.

I bought a 3' gold-plated right-angle cable on Ebay from Valley Enterprises (valley-Ent) for $4 including shipping. It has worked flawlessly for about six months. Do an Ebay search on "3.5mm cable right angle" and look for their auctions. The right-angle cable connectors fit both the Zumo and the HK head unit much better than the standard straight connectors.Originally Posted by bissjim

BTW, you'll need to adjust the MP3-player volume in the Zumo optons menu (wrench symbol) and also the master volume using the bottom-left button. If you don't make these adjustments from the standard settings the volume will be low.
