My 6" dark smoke windvest was delivered today. To bad by the time it made it home and I got it on I was a couple of beers into it and I don't ride that way so... We will see weather permitting tomorrow if it works as good as everyone says. All I can say is that it sure looks pretty, the recurve is very noticeable unlike the clearviews I have seen. But even with the dark smoke its more of a brownish smoke color than the dark greyish black that is on the origional.
Can't wait to find out how it does.

Ok, here it is. I ride with a full face helmet due to the bugs and rocks up here in AK. I noticed that the wind has moved from the middle of my shield to the top of my helmet. The helmet is noticably warmer due to the reduced airflow. As for the buffeting, its definatly better... not gone but better. I don't expect for all the airflow to be gone, this is tolerable to say the least.
