I have the Wild One chubby 0575 bars and the same problem. I just don't want bar mounted mirrors, takes away the look, IMO I just look over my shoulers alot. I bought the Wicked Image mirrors and they have the bubble on the outside edge, good enough for me.
i agree with the guys that say they dont want bar mounted mirrors it does take away the look i was thinking of getting some arlen ness teardrop mirrors and mounting them under the bars so they dont stick up above the fairing i will post pics if this is what i do
hey i found some mirrors a few days ago at the harley dealership, they're like 130 bux and are very glossy black, which would fit and look very cool on my black streetglide, they have a tribal theme to them, and are verry sleek.. they appear in the new supplimental parts catalog. not in the big thick parts and accessories catolog. sure look sweet and necessary if going to other bars.
Just put these on so I gotta show em off. I'm amazed at good the field of vision is with these low profile simple little mirrors. I didn't want anything that was too big or conspicuous, so these were about as simple as I could find.
those mirrors look just like the ones i just ordered they are the arlen ness ones right ? i think i will be mounting them under the handlebars i will have to wait and see !! nice looking ride you got there !!!!
