Those MO's are killer looking pipes! If I was to ever buy another touring bike, the MO's would be the first things on it.

I thought I got a good deal, where did you buy yours for $580?
On E-Bay from a seller store called Kustomemporium. His buy it now price is $600 including shipping. But he also has an offer option. I tried $560 but he wouldn't bite so we settled at $580 including shipping. Perfect transaction and fast delivery. I was also surprised to find brand new muffler clamps included in the packaging.

Try Ebay Item No. 200338333555

wow, great lookin mufflers, looks like they'd reduce your lean angle would by number one concern, and also are they quite a bit heavier than the stock ones? i'd guess they are? they sure look great with the black tips. haven't heard them yet, but am looking foreward to hearing them in person someday at a rally or somewhere. great write up.

I love mine. Slightly louder once broken in. Very deep sound. Quiet when leaving or entering my cul-de-sac, but a nice sound if you need to let someone know you are there.

I hardly ever have my radio on these days, I just love the sound of the MO and the more miles you put on them, the deeper they sound

I also was slightly concerned with lean angle so here' what I did yesterday. First I placed the jiffy onto a block to set the bike almost straight up. Then made sure the front tire was perfectly aligned with the rear. Next, I took all the air out of the rear shock and had a heavy buddy sit on the passenger seat. Next I took a 2ft by 8ft piece of plywood and layed it on the garage floor on the right side of the bike and pushed it towards the bike until the leading edge was touching both tires. Then I lifted the plywood up towards the bike while keepin the edge against the tire. I basically was bring the ground up to the bike rather than leaning the bike down to the ground. The result is that my floorboards touch down WAY before the Ovals could. However I do have 1 inch Soos extenders.

Bottom line is that I'm not too concerned about sharp turns on even ground but will continue be more careful on dips and driveways.
