Super easy to install. Simply pull the old ones upward, they are held on by rubber grommets that fit through holes in the floorboard base. The new boards bave ball like grommets with teats on them underneath. Set them on the base, and with a pair of pliers pull the teats from below, through the holes in the boards, until the grommets set in the holes. Should take about 3 minutes per side, seriously.
Ya know, I thought it would be simple! I looked at my stock ones and tried to pull the rubber grommets off, meaning I pulled down! I thought they "popped on" and held the inserts in place, no wonder they wouldn't come off that way!
Thanks, will just wait until I get the inserts.
Appreciate it
Not easy at all...when I squirted the soap, it hit me in the eye, I jumped backwards knocked over a can of paint which in-turn spilled all over my new shoes, I was so angry I didn't realize and walked into the house on our new carpet! Just Kidding.
Actually, my close to 10 year old insert grommets were so old and crackled I coudln't remove them clean, so they basically had to be broken apart. After that, it was a breeze. Super easy for sure. Took me about 20 minutes to do all four boards.
They look great!

You must be a long lost brother! That sounds exactly like the stuff I would go through.
