Ride safe and have a great weekend!
Gone riding
Thanks for sharing that. As if I wasn't already paranoid enough about accidents and the dangers involved with motorcycling. I'm one of those guys that focus so much on making it home safe, I can't just relax and enjoy the ride...I really hate that.
Hmm, 27% of the fatalities had a BAC above .08 percent, an in 36% of the fatal accidents, the driver of the motorcycle was speeding. Helmets (they don't say what type) are estimated to reduce death by 37%.
It's fairly obvious that if you want to be safer: slow down, don't drink and ride, and wear a helmet.
I've seen too many guys pound beers while out riding. I know that after even 1 beer, judgement is skewered. Even had a friend who left a party after one too many, got on his bike, went down the street going too fast and someone pulled out in front of him, bang.
Gone in a instant. Stay safe, don't drink while riding. R.I.P Joe Tapia
so supersports wreck more than others, hmmmmm. Did I miss the stat about how many wrecks were caused by cages pulling out in front of bikes???
Defensive driving is probably our most important skill. I especially watch for cars pulling out from side streets. I have a habit of always watching the top of a vehicles front tire. Because if I see motion, I will see it first there, and be able to react that much quicker.
