I finly go my wife out on my 09 RKC we had a nice day and did about 250 miles. The problem is after only 50 miles she told me I had to get a new seat for her. What is the most comfortable 2 up seat you ever had and what was the least comfortable. My wife thanks you in advance for the help. Chris
Probably the best suggestion is to have the double-decker memory foam upgrade done by the fine folks at Mean City Cycles.
Give 'em a call and they'll go over the options with ya.
I have my stock seat awaiting its appointment for a double-decker upgrade for both rider & passenger (I have my SunRay Premium Heated Seat on the bike now, but will swap out for the upgraded stock seat once I have it back from MCC)
My wife and I like the Mustang touring seat with both driver and passenger backrests. I have not tried a lot of different seats, but hey......you only need to find one that you like.
That rear seat on the RKC is not very substantial so not surprising your other half is not finding it comfortable. The RK standard seat is wider and probably more comfortable - maybe you can find one on here cheap that someone took off their '09.
Many seem to praise the Sundowner as a comfortable seat. There are many out there, look around and also do research on here on the subject as it's been covered many times here on the Forum.
Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. You can also consider a floorboard extension mod as that has been proven to help people become more comfortable on those long rides. i second the Mean City Cycles Mod.
