i put in my own alarm - bought it from radio shack and installed it myself. no prob.
so the other day, stopped at a drive in. turned the bike off. keys and fob in my jacket. laid the jacket on the bike. about once every minute or so, the alarm would put out one chirp and the turn signal lights would flash once or twice.
I have the same set up. Mine only chirps and flashes lights once when I turn the ignition off.
Did you just install it? Could be you have a strand of wire touching another connection or possibly not wired correctly.
Also, I would start putting the fob in my pants pocket or wear it on your belt along with the gas key.
its never happened before. it was just weird. i usually keep the fob in the coat jacket because it is easier to get it out with the other keys for the trunks, etc.
and i wired it way back. will have to play with it just a bit and see when and where it happens again.
over the weekend it was just that one time at that place. we stopped at other places but it didn't do. then again, i don't think i threw the jacket on the bike either.
