Well, after a long time ,lots of research, and the advised against
test-ride, I am going to get a Gold White/Pewter 09 Ultra. I am
making the jump from a honda VTX1800 to the Ultra and cannot
wait to begin this new relationship between man and bike. Gotta
get some small details worked out but will probably get it next week.
I will post pics after she is home and needing a time to cool off,
looking forward to learning even more from you guys, I've been
lurking here for months.

Welcome to the darkside. You are going to love the Ultra!
I hope you get your scoot....my first bike is an 09 EGC....and I love it....I was glad I went all out and got what I really wanted...you'll love it....
Congrats and welcome to the family! You will absolutely love your Ultra and the color combo you have chosen just makes it that much more elegant. Ride safe and ride often.
Bought a white/gold pearl 08 FLHTCU in early May after having ridden a Super Glide and a Fat Boy for years and love it. Got it for the longer distance rides, and we're chompin at the bit to get her out on the highway! You'll love the color, and honestly, it takes just as long to get her squeaky clean as it does the black pearl Fat Boy, so keeping her shiny is no big deal ;-)
