I'm glad I only live an hour away..........it's really starting to be not worth the trip.

My feelings exactly. Sitting in stopped traffic on a scoot is not my idea of a good time. I start out headed that way and then when I get close, I just say screw it and avoid it altogether. I end up loosing myself on the back roads all around the northern part of NH. Route 153 to N. Conway. Then up and over Hurricane Mtn road over to 113 up thru Evans Notch. You get the idea...
Oh boy! Laconia is right around the corner! I can't wait.
I'll be up there again this year from Saturday the 13th and leaving the 19th. I've got a camp on Ossipee and I've got a few of my local riding buddies coming with me. I'll be cooking and they'll be doing the dishes every night. Ride all day long. Go over to the strip in the evening and check out the scene and buy a few T-shirts. Same old stuff.
I hope to do a couple good long rides. Hook upwith that hoodlum Bruce T one day and do some real miles and check out his new Ultra Classic.
Go to Bay Haven and meet Ron and Beth at least once. Might have to do that twice just for good measure!
Maybe take an early morning blast over the Kanc to P&H for some French Toast. Then go north up to St. Johnsbury and catch Rt 2 and take it east over to 16 and back down 16 into Conway. Yeah.. do some ridin'. That's what I'm talking about.
No wives, girlfriends, razors, or work. Ridin', motocycles, steaks, eggs and bacon for breakfast and lots of miles. yeah.. that's what I'm talkin' about.
Maybe hit that BBQ place over on the corner of 25 and 16 some night.
It's turning into a great season. The Valkyrie and the EGC are running perfect. I put a Jagg oil cooler ont he EGC and it loved that addition, running nice right at the 210' mark. It's got a bypass that doesn't kick the oil cooler in till it hits that 210'F mark, and then it just stays there, even when the ambient temp is in the 90s. The bike loves it. Running M1 15-50W doesn't hurt either.
yep.. bikes are running fine, the knee is getting better and better weekly, life is good.
If anyone wants to make that P&H run with me, let me know. I'm talking about sweeping the dew off the Kanc to get there. But that's what it's all about as far as I'm concerned. Let someone else sleep in and nurse a hangover.. I'm riding. (a short but sweet 205 mile loop)
