blinker trouble
I have a 06 street glide and here lately my left blinker works fine blinks at a normal rate, my right one works fine but when I turn it on it blinks twice at a normal speed then starts rapidly blinking. Now the actual blinker blinks at the normal rate but the blinker indicator on the faring does the rapid blinking. Any sugesstions?

Usually means you have a bulb out, but I am assuming you checked to make sure all four bulbs were actually lighting up.
So what you are saying is that all of the bulbs are working fine and blinking at the normal rate, just the dash indicator is blinking twice as fast? Never heard of that one before, maybe the signal controller is going bad, as long as the actuall turn signals themselves are working, I wouldn't worry about it.

Had a similar problem last week with my bike. Left side T/S blinking fast and would not cancel unless I turned off the ign switch, also the security ligh would go on once in a while.

Like they said, check the bulbs first. Make sure you have the right bulb. Next you need to see if you have a short. Perhaps a pinched wire? It happened to me once. I wiggled the wires and it stopped so I knew I had a short. Drove me crazy changing bulbs because it wouldn't act up all the time.

Blinker Trouble Also
I have an '06 Street Glide that has come down with a turnsignal issue. My right side bulb was blown so I replaced it. After replacing it the left side turnsignal started blinking very rapidly. So I then replaced that side also. Now I have NO lights at all on the rear! The hazard/emergency lights work fine when turned on. My gauges do not light up or work plus the alarm light stays ON...
This is driving me NUTZZZ I can't figure this thing out. HELPPPPP

darkman check your fuses and then check the wiring harness in the rear fender had a similar problem last year rear tire hit the harness

I acquired this problem a few months ago and just got around to checking here for a solution. Both mine blink fast and the light bulbs are fine. I'll have to check for a short when I get a chance.
