09 street glide, 6-3 sundowner seat, wind hits me in forhead hard, klock werks 6.5 any advice what to replace with or how high to go?? need more but dont want it too high thanks alot !!!!
How much higher would you like the wind to hit?
If it's hitting you in the forehead, I would think 3 inches or so more might just do it.
Take a tape measure out there & calculate it while sitting on the bike.
You probably want to just peek over the top of the shield, not always have to look through it.
My husband just went through this same thing with his Ultra.
He measured it then bought one online.

Rizzini, how ya doin ? I see you're much taller than I am(5'10") I just bought a Clearview shield w/recurve 8" light smoke tint. I can see through it and it works very well, no comparison to stock shield. Not the cheapest, but it does work very well; excellent fit and finish. Good luck with your selection...Ride Safe
Look out at an object 50' ahead of your bike. Your eyes should be 1-2" above the top of the windshield. I am guessing 8" at a minimum and possibly the 10" but not sure what that seat does to your position.

8.5 or 9.5 clearview shield with recurve. Or maybe a 6.5 with recurve. The recurve is like addidng 2" to the top of the windshield. Check out the "report on clearview 8" windshield " thread www.clearviewshields.com
