I am looking at starting to piece together the parts to punch my new SG out to 107. I think I read somewhere that these bikes already have a larger TB than the older 96 inchers.....is that true? Is it already a 50mm TB and if so what are the injectors rated at?
It's a sickness. Once you've had it, you can't go back to stock.
I am ill also. But I love it!
Just wondering, are you going with aftermarket cylinders? I was told the stock jugs get a bit thin and my guy only wanted to bore them to 103 size on my 08 RK. If you wouldn't mind, would like to here what you have in mind for the build. Greg

I am likely going to just go with the Headquarters package. I was happy with my stuff from headquarters before and I see no reason to change. So to answer your question, yes I am positively going to change the cylinders when I do it.
Right now I may just copy my 107 build in my softail. I think it would work great with this bike too.
HQ600 cams
10.5 to 1 compression
I will use HQ heads this time instead of Rev.
107 ci.
Rivera clutch
I have done three HQs motors -- two 107's and one 103 stock throttle body on all builds--HQs stuff is the chit--my 107 RG runs so good one of my Club Bro's changed his totally built SE 110 to HQs 113--

Might want to consider using the HQ575 cam instead of the 600. Personally I think it's a better choice for the heavier bagger. I'm really happy with the way it performs in my HQ103. You will not get aftermarket cylinders back from HQ. They will be bored out stock HD cylinders. Lot's of opinions on both sides of the 3.938 bore.
