Finally pulled the trigger !!!
After many days of debating, I finally pulled the trigger on a new head unit for my Ultra.
Unfortunately, it was the most expensive model I found, but had the specs I was looking for.
It has the 7" monitor with touchscreen, and the highest voltage for pre-amp input that I could find.
Gonna pair it up with the Alpine PDX 4.150 amp, and either Boston Accoustics, or Infinity Kappa's.
Will have to talk to the resident pro about making my cables !

I know a few guys with 7" DVD screen head units. No problems so far.
The touchscreen gives you a lot of control over the fuctions.
And on this particular unit, it has the most power and options of all the units I've seen.
Should be an awesome system when finished.
