Today, I felt as if I was feeling vibration in my feet and hands, that I don't recall feeling before. I'll call it a "tight", tingly vibration, not a rough idle.
I'm feeling it throughout the 1500-3000 rpm range.
Here's the "maybe" part:
I recently installed monster Ovals. These pipes have such a low rumble to them, that I might easily be mistaking a rumble from the mufflers, as engine vibration. Is this possible?
If this just started occurring after the muffler install then the most likely problem is the muffler bracket. Make sure that your muffler brackets are centered on the hanger. Well it doesn't have to be centered exactly but if the metal part on the muffler is touching is touching the metal part on the bracket you will feel exactly what you are explaining. T.

Yes, I started feeling it after installing the MO's
However, I don't see an metal touching metal near the bracket.
I definitely felt more vibration after installing the MO's on my Road Glide. Got used to it after a while and it's not a problem for me now. Makes sense that it's a result of the tuning of the mufflers, because I have no metal-to-metal contact either.

Funny I just posted about something similar, But I changed mufflers last season. Your description sounds like my vibration except that mine starts around 2500 rpm. I understand these bikes vibrate but mine just doesnt feel right. If you resolve your issue a resonse would be awesome.
My '08 RG started doing the same thing at around 22.5K. At first it was cyclic and when it was in for service I asked them to check it. They said they found the comp. nut loose. After that I noticed that the vibe was constant, they said the front motor mount was loose. Now I'm getting the tingly vibes, though not every time I'm out and I'm trying to figure out what conditions are for when it does it and when it don't. Also I've started to notice when going around a bend in the road or an easy sweeper that the vibe get deeper and felt more in the floorboards. No wobbles. I'm thinking maybe the rear mount/swingarm bushings need attention.
