The damn weatherman can't forcast for crap anyway! Accuweather.com says that the later half of this week should be good weather. Let's hope. I don't hear the roar of motorcyles this morning. It has been pouring rain since last night here in NH.
Lockshop, (or any of you on here). If you can't find a place for your trailer, I've got space for you to store it just off 106 in Loudon. Drop me a note. As I own a Sports Bar and BBq Smoke house in Concord, I'd say "Stay There!", but i'm bias.........
Concerning crowds, We did go up yesterday, and for a Saturday before the event, we all (all of us are NH natives and been going for decades) felt that the crowds were as big as we have ever seen on the first day. On the way out, one of the gang decided to ride up thru the Weirs to Meridth, and it took him 2 hours from the flats at Paugus Bay to the HD dealer. We went the back way and it was steady, but no traffic until the rotary. But on the way back in front HD to the Weirs at about 4, it took us an hour anyway.
Weather wise, Intellicast now says rain today and Monday then high 70's for the rest of the week, so it looks good!
wish i was going....I'm heading the opposite way...going to the Keys...beach time for me.
couple buddies of mine are heading up that way this morning if they haven't already left.
good luch and hope the weather holds for you all!
Well if anyone is on the list and up here and wants something to do, I' putt Easy Rider on the 10 foot projection at the Bar and we can sit and chill.......
Numbers were way down.. It was dead compared to previous years.. Still had a good time and will be going back next week for sure!
man you must have been in a different place than I was yesterday. It was by far the biggest crowd I've seen in years for opening day. Seriously, I thought the crowd was excellent yesterday. In fact I only lasted about two hours as it was hard to even just walk around.
Anybody know where Mustang Seats are setup at? I hate traffic so don't want to show up on the south end and realise I have to drive to the north end (or vise-versa)...if you know what I mean.
