Will it fit

Will a seat off a 96 FLH Ultra classic fit a 2001 EG Standard?

Can't say for sure, but since the major changes to the tourers came in 1997 I'm gonna render a guess that it won't fit. Most items say 97 and later, etc.

To follow-up on Dawg's observations, go to HD's website, get to the Genuine Motor Accessories portion, and check-out the Electra Glide seats there. IIRC, the fitment guide is usually for '97-'07 model years with different fitment for '08 and '09. Unless they show '96 seats fitting later years, I'd say it's probably a "no go."
