I can't stand my spokes nor my white walls at all. I just wipe them down and don't look at them, hopefully next month they will be coming off and I will not have to look at them any more.

When I got my bike it had spokes on it. After the first time I tried to clean them, OFF THEY CAME! I mean, come on, I was spending more time cleaning the spokes than I was riding the bike!

I hear you. Anyone got a good source for 21x3.5 inch wheels. I know several of yall don't like that look on a RKC, but I do and have not found a good site yet.

Real motorcycles have spoked wheels.

Buy the Harley spoke brush or go to the hardware store and get something similar. Buy Blechwite (sp?) tire cleaner at the local auto store. Put bike up on hydraulic stand (also available at the auto store or sears) until wheels come off ground. Take off saddlebags. While washing the overall bike, spray the Blechwite on the tires and spokes. Use a standard bathroom scrubbing brush to scrub the tires by simply spinning them with your hands. Use spoke brush to clean spokes as you spin the tires. Spray off with hose. Takes a lot longer to clean the headlight than it does the wheels and tires: about 1 min. each. A chamois cloth held against the rims while spinning will make them come out nice and shiny.

I've never tried this but I am after reading this thread, becuase my spokes are in really bad shape. I just got the bike and I was even wondering if these spokes are chromed. I'm gonna try my Dremil tool that has a flexible shaft, kinda looks like a dental tool with a buffing cloth wheel attached, put a little ******* on it spin away!!
