My Road King has:
the removable passenger back rest
Stock Seat.
When the wife and I are on it together, I am pushed up, and cannot sit in the saddle correctly.
Is there any thing out there that I can install to move the backrest further back? Anything would help.
Get a mod to your seat by Mean City Cycles. They are a forum sponsor and have tons of great reviews. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/mean-city-cycles-94/ Or you could try a different seat which is a bit more expensive. There are tons of great seats out there.

Yes, I was thinking of the sundowner seat. But I do not think that would solve my problem. My problem is the distance between the driver and passenger. If the sissy bar goes back some that would give us more room. If I get a seat that keeps me in the same position (front to back) that will not change how much room we have. I do not like the reach seat - because it moves me forward and that is uncomfortable for me.
If you wanna go custom you could try buying the high rise sissy bar, bending a S step into it and stepping it back 1 1/ 2- 2"? You will have to re chrome it after.
I assume your wife is tall, if she isnt then the back of her calves will be into the crash bars if you move her back much. When my missus is on the back she cant move any futher backwards without this happening.
