Hey fellas. I ordered a 09 RKC on my birthday this year which was april 10th. I had to order it to get all the options I wanted and the color I wanted. I wanted ABS, security, upgraded wheel option and in pewter pearl. They told me when I ordered it that it would be mid june before it arrived and then they had 22 hours of labor to do on it after it got to the dealership. That includes putting on some wild 1 bars with all chrome controls, a tour pak, thunderheader exhaust, 4 point docking system, chrome forks, a SEST and a dyno tune. Well, I called the dealership and they told me the bike shipped to them on May 29th and that the bike was on a semi truck and was on its way. They went on to say that the bike would be there in 4 to 9 days and they would call me as soon as it got there. Im so excited I cant sleep some nights. Anyway, I call the dealership today and ask wheres my bike? They say, "your bike has been lost in translation." They are looking for it and supposed to call me back today with answers. What should I do?

Nothing to do but wait, The trucking company may have a problem or delivered it to the wrong dealer. They have the vin number and should be able to locate it soon. If they can't find it soon, see what they can do for you (discount on extra's?) They probably meant lost in transportation.
It probably fell off the back of the delivery truck somewhere out on the highway and some dope smoking young punk is repainting the tank in a garage based body shop in Pig's Knuckle, Arkansas.
tell your dealer to get screwed wait 5 weeks and get a 2010
That thought crossed my mind. Im just REALLY wanting to get on a bike. Ive got my softail apart and my kids are out of school. I was wanting to take the OL on a nice trip to possibly the smokies and at this pace soon the kids will be starting back to school and we wont have time to go.
