Hi Guys, the new bike has arrived I get to see it tomorrow for the first time.... I am interested in fitting a i Pod into the system.. has anyone done this yet?
Any info please. Will post pictures as soon as the bike is delivered
Looking forward to the pics. I simply love the EG. Best bike ever built. Can't help with the ipod but I have installed an XM Roady and a mp3 player. I used a RAM mount for the roady and put the mp3 player in a windshield/dash bag.
The old lady has an Ipod with the fm modulator that broadcasts out at 87.9. The harley radio doesnt go that low so to make it work she would have had to adjust it somehow. I dont know much about it but it shouldnt be hard to do. You should be able to use a plug in the aux jack no problem also. I dont think it would handle the vibration if mounted to the bike so I would put it in your pocket and use the fm mod.
I have an RCA Lyra that I made a patch cord about 18" long for. Pulled the radio out (a real PIA) and ran the cord under it and up and under the windshield. I left about 2-3" showing to the radio. Turn the player on and throw it in the windshield pouch. Nice and dry if you get cought in a storm. I don't need to see what songs playin...
Good luck with the new scoot!
Thanks for all the info Guys,I have had some good comments and will let you all know how I connect the thing.
