It finally arrived!!

Most of you probably read my post yesterday about the RKC that was "lost in translation" as the dealership put it and as the post was titled. By the way thanks for all the feedback on that post. I just wanted to let everyone know that the bike did arrive this morning after I insinuated that I may wait on a 2010 model. Now I am supposed to pick up the new road king next tuesday and Im grinning from ear to ear. I used Doc's post here called "5 questions to ask your tuner" on the forum to quiz the tech that will be tuning the bike and he passed with flying colors. Thanks for that information Doc. Im curious to see though if I get a 15% increase in power like the tech said I would. Anyway, I asked the salesman if the 2010's would have a 103" motor as one reply I got on yesterdays post suggested might/could happen. As any good salesman would have replied, "We dont know until they get here what changes are made to the new ones." He also said "they (MOCO) have already told us that they are going to be coming out later this year than before; probably first week of august unless they move it back even further." That statement was probably to encourage me to take the 09. So there you have it. Im happy now, or will be next tuesday anyway!

congrats, I'll be happy when the new and improved 2010's come out in a month...ride safe...

Are you gonna get a 2010? I cant imagine any big changes but I could be wrong. If its a 103 motor I can always do that to my 96 which I intend to do at some point anyway.

it all depends on wha the greedy bastards come out with, but have to wait a month to find out. I have the slightest clue, hope you and your wife enjoy the new bike.
