Beware of speed bumps

Thanks for all the replies and kind words of concern guys. I should mention that I was travelling very slowly and was as a virtual stop as I bottomed out. A little more speed may have saved the day.
As to looking for some legal action, here in Canada it is much more difficult to sue people. As a matter of fact, I cant even find out who owns the laneway (not the city)

Another thing to watch out for is PAINT on speed bumps. I dropped a bike many years ago on a speed bump that was painted. There was some morning dew on it and that is all it took.
The only good part was that it happened on my old GPZ1100. Bike has been gone for many years!!
