Well I don't share Victory's "Vision" Everyone has their own opinion and that's what makes the world go round. Personally, I think it's the ugliest thing on two wheels and I wouldn't put one in my garage even for a night. You love it and if it makes YOU happy, that's all that counts. Enjoy and be safe.

What amazes me here in this thread, is a Victory Vision with it's 106 CI, 92 hp straight out of the box, MODERN controls, and all the features and then some; that Ultra Classics, Roadglides don't have. Handling that will leave ALL Harley's in it's dust...And everyone is screaming they don't like it....But you get all this modern equipment, very nice power plant, and no need to keep buying add on parts (like Harley) for the price of an Ultra Classic $23,000....And that's everything a fully loaded NO ADD-ONS REQUIRED...

With a Harley you got to buy this and this and this to make it a LITTLE better...

I went riding with a buddy this weekend on the Dragon and Cherahala Skyway, he has a 2009 Vision, it is a good looking motorcycle, it is styled like BMW's, and crouch rockets...Nice sweeping lines and all...

Then Sunday I went by the local Harley dealer and they had a 2009 SE Road Glide SHARP bike...but $38,000 PLEASE....Had basically the same motor (SE 110) but had no modern controls, all analog instrumentation, and a Harley handles like a brick compared to his ride....The Victory Vision was able to keep up with the crouch rockets effortlessly...

I will "CONSIDER" one or even a BMW when it's time to trade next year...Just find it funny how many people say it's ugly...but owning a RG I hear it all the time boy that RG sure is a fugly bike...at least the Vision has a modern look to it...and it's not OVERPRICED like a Harley is...

just my 2 cents on this...since seeing and riding one

I don't think the vision is ugly. The problem I have with it is the lack of cargo space. Where's the T bag go? No extra room for anything. They sound a little funny too. I start humming the theme to the Jetsons every time I see one.

Default You do make good points

And they are made in the USA so maybe we need to accept them more.
I still ride a Harley and cannot imagine changing but would consider a Polaris for
a second bike

If the man likes his Vision then so be it. I can see where some think it is too futuristic but I personally think it is innovative and a nice looking bike. But I also like ugly Road Glides LMAO

Somebody explain to me what "modern" controls are? I keep reading that and it doesn't make sense. The Vision I saw had a twist throttle, and lever brake, and a foot pedal to use on the rear. Is there a force field engaged so you don't have to actually touch the controls?

Electronics are the way of the future...the era of rock and grindstone are gone..sorry!

Let's see; Modern controls= Comfort...Ipod controls integrated with other switchs, push button and rocker switches on the console, so they DON'T fall off, (Ask me why this is an issue), LCD display, power windshield adjust (don't have to buy aftermarket to be comfortable)....Just to name a few....It's all about comfort.

I've had to add so MUCH to my '06 RG to be comfortable, I've probably got over $25K in mine!!
