Leak Stop

Anybody ever put the "leak stop" stuff in your oil? I have a small leak between my inner primary and tranny and was wondering if i could use this stuff for the time being to hold of on the hours of labor the stealer wants to dive into it!

Would you drink "leak stop" if your finger was bleeding? Oil is the lifeblood of your engine. Get the leak fixed or live with it. It's traditional.

I wouldn't put that gunk in anything. Maybe it wouldn't hurt, but I'd rather get the wrench out and replace the gasket. My $.02

They do make some stuff that stops bleeding quickly but...... Fix the thing the right way...

Thanks for the info, what i figured that was the response i would get and really what i needed to get myself to just drop the cash and get it fixed correctly!

Pick up a service manual.. Fix it yourself, its really not hard..

Personally, I would let it leak before I put that contaminant in my oil..

most leak stop products are a chemical compound designed to make the seal swell up, the problem is it makes ALL the seals swell up, even the ones that are OK, to say nothing of it contaminating the oil.
