Default Brighter 6th Gear Light?

I can hardly ever see the 6th gear indicator. Anyway to make it brighter or maybe change the color from green to red? Maybe the red will be more visible.

Maybe it's your bulb? I only use 6th when going over 70mph, but when I do the light is pretty bright.

Maybe ride in darker places? Ok, might just be your light. I never pay attention to mine, never had any of this new technology until last year, just know what gear I'm in by habit. When I do happen to see it, though, it's plenty bright, day and night.

I hardly can see my 6th gear light while riding in the day light. On my Road Glide, the sun glares off of the face of the gauge, which makes it hard to see the light. I just watch my speed vs RPM, plus keeping a sence of the gear I am in. If in doubt, try going up a gear, if no there are no more gears left, you are in 6th.

Try riding at night 'cause it looks real pretty then.

Actually, it is so sunny in Texas I can't usually see mine during the day unless I reach down and cup my hand over the gauge to put it in a shadow. Not the safest maneuver in heavy traffic or on twisty Hill Country roads.

I can always tell when I'm in 6th gear. I'd been thinking it'd be nice to have an indicator for the 1 through 5 gears.
