i know that i can buy the Short pad with mounting bracket for 100 bucks at any harley store...but C'MON there has got to be an aftermarket company that has pad for the short (52935-04) sissy bar....a$100 for a piece of foam and bracket is insane, im not cheap, but for something that is only used with someone on the back, (not a lot on my bike) But wife wants some support...
so if anyone knows of someone selling a pad (51579-05) or of an aftermarket pad that will work for sure, please pass it along..thanks
ive cked ebay pretty good the part number to the pad is 51579-05 expensive, i have not found anything to replace that part number in aftermarket world....the sissy bar pat is 52935-04....if anybody knows of anything else, it would be greatly appreciated...
Make a back plate from plywood, put some foam on it & have a local upholsterer/auto upholsterer cover it in vinyl/leather. I did it for two FXR sissy bars. You get the shape & padding you want, not what some seat maker thinks you want.
