What's the best riding shorts out there and where do you get them?

I recommend jeans man. Shorts aren't going to help you if the worst happens.

UPDATE - riding shorts=undershorts, I don't ride with short pants either.

those jeans will shred plenty fast when they contact pavement..granted they offer a "bit" more protection but there is no way to completely protect your body with clothes, suits or anything else on the street!

I always laugh when I see the sportbike crowd riding in traffic with full leathers on..yes they protect great from roadrash...but not so much from the stationary objects found on the street

Wear the ones that are comfortable for you.

If the majority said thong Speed-Os, would you wear them?

I personally have several styles of undershorts, the kind I ride in are the ones I have on when I pull on my jeans.
