If your paint color is in production, (still a sold color) then the wait time is 6-12 weeks depending on how many orders they have. If your paint color is out of production you could wait up to 12-16 weeks. My RG parts took about 8 weeks to show up and they were ordered in March. In the summer it will take longer. Sorry.
Worked at the collision center for a dealership in Oregon for a while. Painted parts are very unpredictable. It all depends if H-D has it on the shelf. Seen it take as few as 3 weeks and as long as 5 months. Sorry I can't be more specific but it is impossible to say.
not to get your hopes up, but i ordered nearly a full paint set for my 05' road glide on may 27th this year and got all of it within 3 weeks which included a week of secondary shipping from chicago HD. i am told this is not typical at all, but it happens. hopefully you have similar luck...
