I recently added an 4 channel amp and Lower Speakers to my ULTRA C.
I also ran my rear and front speakers to the amp. A friend of mine was telling me that I would get better performance if I only added the lower speakers to the amp and left the rear and front alone.
Does anyone have any idea if this is true or suggestions. How do you have yours setup.
I put in Kickers in my lower fairing for bass, and I put fosgates in my upper fairing, the amp 300 watts is a fosgate amp.
The sound is pretty clear, however, when I really turn it up it gets a bit distorted, thats why my friend told me to re-do the amp set up to my lowers only.
I am fairly new at this audio stuff so any suggestion would be appreciated. Thinking about putting a 8" sub build out for quick removal in my touring pack.
Let me know what you think. If I am correct my factory set up has a amp already on it.

You have to amke sure the fairing & lowers speakers can handle the wattage from the amp. If the amp is too strong for the speaker, it can cause the speakers to blow..You don't want that!!
