Picking up a new RKC 09 next week . . . wanting my Dealer to put on floorboard extensions before I pull away.
Was in a wreck 1 1/2 years ago . . . totaled my 03 Fatboy and nearly totaled me . . . just got out of the wheelchair a month agao and started walking again with a limp and a cane--will be permanent but OK.
Left ankle only flexes up a little . . . having them put on 4 inch shifter pegs--foot won't turn in enough to use stock shifter peg. But I will need to extend the stock floorboards out an inch . . . but don't want to drag the boards after installing the lowering shock in the rear too . . .
Putting on 4-way adjustable pegs on the crash bars.
Not sure if if I need to extend the floorboards out an inch two . . . maybe forward an inch also, . . . but definitely out one inch. Need to decide this afternoon on a floorboard extension kit so they can order with the rest of my accessories and the extensions are on when I pick up the bike next week and ride again
Don't hear much about the Kuryakyn, you will find rave reviews here for Harley Goodies and Soos products. My guess is you will get them faster and cheaper through one of these guys, plus support the forum.
Same day free shipping here and from Soos as well. Money back guarantee. Enough hard sell from me, I just want to give you the 411. If you don't like them I will even pay shipping back and refund the money.

I have the Harley Goodies extensions and they work great! I just got back from a 1,000 mile weekend trip up to Oakland and was extremely comfortable the entire way.
I don't know of anyone that makes kits to raise the 09 floorboards. Previous model-years had that option, but no the 09's... But as for extending them out 1", I would (did) go with HarleyGoodies. Excellent product and same-day shipping.
Your link sends us to the Kury main page. I will assume that you are referring to the Kury adjuster that moves the board out and forward at the same time. I have no personal experience with this mod, but I do know that it installs on the footboard bracket where the footboard attaches. A few members have gone this route with mixed reviews.
Talk to a good machine shop. Those boy can make anything. After they get you set up the way you need maybe you can sale what they did to others and pay for yours and make a buck. your not going to find what you need from a kit. Sorry to bust any ones a$$. But all said an done you will have what you need.
