2009 touring & tri-glide with RJS Originals Heat Deflectors
Just for your info. I do have em for the 09's and the Tri'Glides as well
Tri-Glide left side with back-rest latch access.
alternating studs. Black Jeweled & Chrome
Tri-Glide right side.
2009 with pearl white studs that compliment the pearl white paint scheme.
I would have gone with the RJs Originals but I have never seen them on an 09. Since the left side pipe now runs under the frame I thought the left side might not look right. I would like to see them on an 09.[/quote]
Am in the process of installing the adjustable back rest to my 2010 Ultra Limited. Instructions are poor and the illustrations are worse. Having a hard time getting the bolt that attaches the adjuster bracket/left faring to start. Not much room to work with but I swear it would be better if the bolt was 1/4 in. longer. The bolt provided in the mounting kit is the same size as the bolt that held on the faring. Bolt is long enough to hold either the faring or the bracket but not both. Anyone else have this problem?
I LIKE the way you think...makes a clean install, with easy to reach adjustment. I think that I will set mine up the same way if you don't mind me borrowing your idea...
Kuryakyn's reflective shields work great as well without much impediment to the backrest adjuster thingie. Not sure if they have a fitment for 09s yet though.
Co-sign on the Kury Shields. I I have the HD Back rest too.
